Airport Shuttle Services
The University’s Division of Outreach Events & Services offers a shuttle service to and from the Memphis International Airport (MEM) for students and University affiliates. Shuttles do not run continuously to and from the airport. These run on a reservation basis only. Shuttle requests should be made at least (6) business days prior to the date of travel in order to ensure a shuttle is available. It is recommended that you schedule a shuttle as soon as your flight is booked to ensure we have time to process and accommodate your request. Reservations are accepted up to one year in advance. Shuttle availability is limited and frequently reaches a maximum capacity during heavy travel times (beginning and ending of semesters, holidays, Spring Break, etc.). Please keep this in mind when scheduling your shuttle.
The cost of one round-trip shuttle is $145 per person. The cost of a one-way shuttle is $95 per person. To book a round-trip shuttle, flight information for both travel dates are required at the time of booking. Payment is required prior to your first shuttle with either a VISA or MasterCard.
The shuttle service operates 7 days/week with the exceptions of University-recognized holidays and home football game days. The earliest departing flight time that can be accommodated is an 8:00 a.m. CST/CDT flight and the latest arriving flight time that can accommodated is a 10:00 p.m. CST/CDT flight.

A note about Thanksgiving shuttle service:
Most residence halls close for academic breaks that may include Thanksgiving break, winter break, and spring break. For buildings that close during academic breaks, residents are expected to vacate by the published closing day and time. Residence halls typically close at 12:00 p.m. following the last day of classes or final exams prior to each break and typically reopen at 12:00 p.m. the day before classes resume. Select residence halls, residential colleges, and apartments remain open for all breaks. Students will receive notification of residence hall closings prior to each break period via Ole Miss Gmail. Additionally, information about academic breaks can be found on the Student Housing website.
We are offering Thanksgiving shuttle services through 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 23rd, under our standard operating hours, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Our round-trip shuttles (a single departure shuttle and a single arrival shuttle) are $145.00 per person. A one-way shuttle (departure OR arrival) is $95.00 per person.
The earliest departing flight we can accommodate is an 8:00 a.m. departure from the Memphis International Airport (MEM). The latest arriving flight we can accommodate is a flight landing at the airport at 10:00 p.m. For return shuttles to Oxford, we will be using charter buses to pick up at set times on Saturday, November 26th, and Sunday, November 27th. We estimate these buses will be scheduled to depart the airport at 11:00 AM, 2:00 PM, 6:00 PM, 9:00 PM, and 10:30 PM.
For Return Shuttles to Oxford:
Due to chartering a large bus in order to serve all student needs, we are only able to drop passengers off on campus at specific locations. However, we can get all students who live in campus housing relatively close to their residence. The primary drop0off locations we will be using are: Crosby, RH2/3, RC South/Lucky Day, & Stockard Hall/Martin Hall. If none of these locations are near your residence, we encourage you to schedule local pick up at these locations or park your vehicle near an approved drop-off location. If neither of these options are possible for you, please reach out to our office and we will provide additional information or support, as available.
Here are a few helpful tips for busy holiday travel:
- Please communicate any changes with our office. We oversee the shuttling of more than 100 unique passengers during the busy holiday season and we rely on each passenger to keep us up-to-date with any changes.
- Please be patient with our staff as we reply to each communication. We often get multiple calls at one time and will respond as soon as we can. An email or text message telling us who you are and what change is occurring is the most efficient and helpful way of communicating.
- Please be understanding. We set our wait times between each bus/van with the goal of keeping everyone’s wait time to a minimum. However, this can affect some passengers more than others.
For questions, please email or call our office at 662-915-5132. Our regular business hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. CST/CDT Monday-Friday.
