Biology Faculty Honored as UM’s Top Online Instructor of the Year
ydia Lytal of Pontotoc, became the first University of Mississippi faculty member to teach a laboratory science class completely online in 2024.
The Division of Outreach and Continuing Education Office of Marketing and Communications is looking for student interns to help with digital marketing tasks during fall, spring, and summer semesters. Outreach internships offer the opportunity to gain experience in a number of skills related to digital marketing and social media management. Students will work under the direction of the Assistant Director of Digital Strategy to carry out tasks related to the Division’s diverse program offerings.

This is a flexible, project-based internship where the student and supervisor will review student goals and strengths and decide on a list of assigned projects and deadlines based on the number of credit hours the student hopes to earn.
