Instructor Information: Gail Davis has taught with the UM-ISHS since 2014. She also teaches Earth and Space Science during Summer Academy. In addition to her work at Ole Miss, Ms. Davis teaches Science and Math at Lafayette County School District. Ms. Davis received her undergraduate degree from The University of Mississippi and her Master of Science in Geosciences from Mississippi State. |

Course Description: Earth and Space Science is an introductory course that includes topics in geology, oceanography, meteorology, and astronomy. Some of the topics that will be addressed include weathering, plate tectonics, fossils, atmospheric phenomena, the water cycle, and planetary and star systems. |
