Course Description |
|||
This course represents a survey of the film industry from the end of World War II in 1945 through the beginning of the 21st century, from the development of television into the digital era. By examining international trends and changes to industry conditions such as production, distribution, and exhibition, the student acquires a contextual understanding of the medium of film and its genres: drama and comedy, documentary and experimental. |
