Cost: This is a virtual course with no travel planned at this time. Tuition rates are the traditional costs for UM 3-hour undergraduate course. Non-resident fees will be charged if applicable.

    • The craft of science
    • Communication of science within the field and out to society as a whole
    • Career possibilities available to holders of STEM degrees
  • Interact with science professionals from widely varying sectors of society in which those with STEM expertise can make an impact including scientists working in:
    • Government
    • Non-profit organizations
    • Industry/Private sector
    • Academia
    • Consultants

Dates:

The dates are December 7th to 11th, 2020 and January 4th to 8th, 2021. Students will meet virtually during this time.

Location:

Students will be meeting virtually for the duration of the course. Students must have access to a computer, internet access, and have a camera and microphone for participation.

This course is open to all majors.

Prerequisites: BISC 160, 161, 162, 163 for BISC. None for ENVS.

Program cost: There is no course fee, only tuition will be charged.
