Laura Antonow, Director
Laura Antonow has been involved with experiential education in both faculty and administrative roles at the University of Mississippi. She received a B.S. from the University of Texas – Arlington and an M.F.A. from Parson School of Design in New York. She has a Ph.D. in Higher Education from the University of Mississippi – finally an alumna. Her research interests include experiential education, service-learning, intercultural competence, inclusive teaching, and women in higher education.
After living in New York City for several years, she returned to Oxford, her hometown – but continues to visit the Big Apple regularly. Washington, DC, Honolulu, Santa Fe, and New Orleans are some other U.S. cities she enjoys. Some lesser-known places she recommends are the Giant City State Park in Southern Illinois and Delray Beach in South Florida. She looks forward to visiting as many National Parks as possible in the upcoming year.
