Students will:

• Develop a broadened view of the world of art after being exposed to some of the greatest art in the world
• Immerse in a new cosmopolitan art environment of an international city that has been on the cutting edge of the art world for the last sixty years
• Visits to highly acclaimed schools like California College of the Arts and San Francisco Institute of Art and more
• Tour and study two master works in three of the visits to museums such as SFM of Modern Art, University Art Museum-Berkeley, and Place of Legion of Honor
• Participate in a figure drawing class studio and artists' studio visits

Location:

Students will spend 6 days and 5 nights in San Francisco, California. Shared accommodations will be provided at an area hotel.

Who should go?

This program is for Art students or others interested in studio art practice. Students must be in junior standing and have instructor approval upon acceptance to this course.

Dates:

Students will meet on campus January 5-9, 2015, then spend January 13-18, 2015 in San Francisco.

Travel:

Students will make their own arrangements to and from San Francisco and meet with the group at the hotel at a designated time.

Costs:

Program cost is $1,195 plus tuition. Included in the cost are housing, a group dinner, tours, museum admission fees, and a figure drawing class fee. Study USA application fee, tuition, airfare, meals other than the group dinner, class supplies, and personal spending money are excluded from the course fee.
