Instructor Information: Hi, and welcome to this independent study course in Physical Education. I am a graduate of Delta State University with a M.Ed in PE, Health and Recreation and Ed.S in Administration and Supervision. I currently teach elementary PE in the Tupelo Public School District. My wife Catherine is a teacher and we have 2 boys, Garrett and John Patrick. I enjoy baseball, fishing and traveling. In this course, you will learn how to get and stay in excellent health for a healthy lifestyle. You will also learn the healthy benefits of physical activity and how to apply them to your daily living. The first thing you should do is read over the course syllabus. Here you'll find how the course is organized as well as information about how you'll be graded. Go through all the material in the "Start Here" menu area, then take the Syllabus and Orientation quiz. Once you pass the quiz with at least 80%, the course materials will become available to you in the Lessons area. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email me. My contact information is on the syllabus, and I'll be able to get back to you very quickly. I'm looking forward to an exciting semester of PE. |
