Las Vegas Resort Course

Itinerary subject to change. Students should wait to make travel arrangements after confirming dates and times with instructor.

Students will:

  • Visit world class hotel-casinos in Las Vegas and tour the facilities including restaurants, guestrooms, meeting facilities, nightclubs, event centers, and stages
  • Meet with industry leaders so that you can develop an understanding of hotel operations
  • Develop an understanding of how hotel operations interact with other tourism segments in a tourism and convention city destination
  • Tour and compare several casino operations including The Venetian and Monte Carlo

Location:

Students will spend 6 days in Las Vegas, NV. Accommodations will provided at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

Who should go?

This course is for Hospitality Management students or others interested in the hotel industry. Participants must be 21 or older due to the entry requirements for a majority of the necessary site visits.

Dates:

Students will make their own arrangements to and from Las Vegas and meet with the group at the hotel at a designated time.

Travel:

Students will make their own arrangements to and from San Francisco and meet with the group at the hotel at a designated time.

Costs:

Program cost is $795 plus tuition. Included in the cost are housing, four group dinners, tours, and group ground transportation. Study USA application fee, tuition, airfare, meals other than the group dinners, and personal spending money are excluded from the course fee.
