Undergraduate Admissions Checklist

Complete an application for admission online at the Ole Miss Application page. Please remember to pay the $40 application fee.

Request each college you have previously attended to send a sealed official transcript of your academic record directly to:

All applicants born after January 1, 1957, must submit documentation of two MMR vaccines (measles, mumps, and rubella) prior to registration. Visit the University Health Center page, click on “Proof of Immunizations,” and follow directions on how to submit through Med+Proctor. You will use your myOleMiss ID and password. For questions about immunization requirements, contact Student Health Services at 662-915-7274.

Information regarding financial aid and scholarships is located here. A financial aid representative is available at the UM-Tupelo office. A FAFSA (Free application for federal student aid) MUST be submitted to be considered for all federal and institutional financial aid. Submission should be done online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. The University of Mississippi financial aid school code is 002440. For additional information, call the financial aid office at 662-844-5622.

Upon admission to the University, you should contact the Academic Counselor at (662) 915-6235 or (888) 846-5622 or tupelo@olemiss.edu to set up an appointment time to be advised. You can also schedule a meeting online. Generally, all academic credits from an accredited college are transferable. However, all of your previously earned credits may not satisfy specific requirements for a particular major. The Academic Counselor can answer all questions related to transferability.
