Preparing Students for What’s Next

The University of Mississippi High School’s mission is to provide students with an accredited quality education in a flexible, online environment. Our dedicated and innovative faculty supports students through a rigorous curriculum that accommodates students of all backgrounds.

The University of Mississippi High School will lead in twenty-first century education by educating, challenging, encouraging, and preparing our students for their futures in college, career, and community.

Dr. Crystal Robinson

Dr. Crystal Robinson

Administrator

Dr. Robinson is a dedicated educator beginning her 22nd year of service, bringing experience as a classroom teacher, administrator, and former principal in DeSoto County Schools. A 2002 graduate of the University of Mississippi, she holds multiple Mississippi teaching licenses and earned her Doctorate of Education from Freed-Hardeman University in 2019. Her career reflects a deep commitment to students, families, and community partnerships.

Enrollment Coordinator

Before joining UM High School, Ashley Morgan worked as an English Language and ELA teacher both in Japan and Mississippi. She earned her Master of Arts in Teaching from MUW. And in her position with UMHS she remains committed to helping students find education solutions that fit their lives.

The University of Mississippi High School is fully accredited through Cognia. Students can exclusively earn their high school diploma.

Asynchronous

UM High School offers a flexible, asynchronous learning environment that allows students to complete coursework on their own schedule while receiving support from certified teachers.

MDE & NCAA Approved

UM High School core course curriculum has been approved by Mississippi Department of Education and the NCAA. Elective courses are not approved by NCAA as they are not part of their college entrance requirements.
