Scary Good Fun: Make a Halloween Wreath

Join Communiversity for scary good fun and learn the basics of creating a Halloween wreath using a variety of materials including ribbons and deco-mesh, just in time for Halloween! Great for decorating or gifting to a friend!
Students will learn everything they need to create their wreath and get started. Depending on wreath size and density, most students can expect to finish the wreath at home.
About the Instructor:
Anne Klingen has been making wreaths from ribbons, fabric, mesh and more for years! She enjoys sharing this fun craft with her community!
Provided Supplies
Variety of ribbons, deco-mesh and trinkets, pipe cleaners, 12" wire wreath frames, glue guns, and scissors.
If you’d like to customize your wreath with a specific color scheme, feel free to bring your own supplies.
Please note
Some hand strength and dexterity are required.
Online registration for this class will close at 4 p.m. on October 22.
If you want to bring your own supplies:
- Wire wreath frame (14" or larger)
- Pipe cleaners or zip ties (50-100 depending on your wreath frame)
- Use a mix of complementary deco-mesh/fabrics/ribbons and patterns – at least six different rolls recommended – Total: about 12 yards (36 feet) of ribbon. For multiple layers: 8-12 yards base color, 3-6 yards accent ribbons. Tip: Wired ribbons work best – they hold shape and are easy to style
- Any trinkets or decorations you would like to add to your wreath
