Safe Sitter® Essentials with CPR

The mission of Safe Sitter® is to provide training to all youth in order to build safer communities. Course content includes:

  • Safety: Indoor, outdoor, online, and personal safety.
  • Childcare: Child development, routines (including diapering practice), and behavior management.
  • First Aid & Rescue: Injury prevention, injury management, and choking rescue.
  • Life & Business: Screening jobs, setting fees, and greeting employers. 

Each participant will receive a workbook. Parents should enter with their child to sign in and plan to return by 3:15 p.m. for a short graduation ceremony.

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Please Note: This class is intended for ages 11 to 14 and students should bring a sack lunch. A CPR certification is not included as part of this class but a training with certification is provided on May 16 that participants in 7th grade or higher may attend.
