College and Career Readiness I & II

The Mississippi College and Career Readiness (CCR) courses were created to support the vision and mission of the Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) - that all students should graduate from high school prepared for college, career, and active citizenship.

The course curriculum standards have been crafted to enhance students' college- and career-readiness skills, so they can be better prepared for college, career, and life. These skills help students not only graduate from high school but also pursue higher education and be equipped for success in college, career, and in the global economy.

The curriculum is relevant to the real world and mirrors the knowledge and abilities necessary for success in college, career, and in the international marketplace.
