Employers

Employers located in Atlanta, New York, or Washington, DC, should reach out to UM Internship Experience staff for more information on offering an internship to students accepted into a competitive preparation cohort with UM support.

Non-academic credit internships
Employers offering non-academic credit internships for University of Mississippi students should visit our Career Center for general information and NACE Professional Standards.

If you would like to post the internship on our online platform, you should create a Handshake profile to make your internship available for UM students to view and apply. A new profile could take up to 48 hours for approval, but any questions about Handshake can be directed to Christy Wright in the UM Career Center.

Academic-credit internships
Employers offering academic-credit internships should contact the academic department in your organization’s field of recruiting interest.
