Rebel Quest is a day camp for children ages 6 to 13. Sessions are held on the Ole Miss campus and led by qualified University and community instructors. Each week stands alone for registration purposes. Enrollment is limited to 40 per session.
Rebel Quest is a great way to keep your child’s brain and body active throughout the summer without the pressure of traditional schoolwork. The Summer 2013 program will run for 7 weeks. Revised dates for Rebel Quest 2013 are:

Each day your child needs to bring a bathing suit, a towel, a plastic grocery bag to carry wet things home in, and any special medications that the child may need (such as an asthma inhaler).
We will be outside and active as much as possible, so your child should wear athletic shoes (which does not include Crocs), and comfortable, casual outfits that are appropriate for outdoor play. Girls should avoid wearing dresses, if possible, and everyone needs sunscreen!
All over! Children will be going to the Grove each day for outdoor activities, as well as different athletic facilities in and around the Turner Center. At the beginning of the week, parents will be given the lead instructors cell phone number to contact their child in the event of an emergency.
The instructors for Rebel Quest are all college graduates, and have designed a curriculum that will be sure to entertain and educate your child. Because our instructors have specialized interests, each day of camp will be dynamic and new for the children. We will be moving all day long, and believe me, they will not be bored!
The children will have one counselor of each gender with the group at all times, plus the instructor of each given session. During swim time, they will be joined by two certified lifeguards. All of our staff is CPR/First Aid certified and have submitted to background checks.
In the event of an emergency, counselors and instructors will first attempt to contact the parents, and if they are unavailable, the emergency contact person will be called, as well as any emergency personnel if needed.
