You don’t have to worry about safe, affordable accommodations during the internship because the UM-WIE arranges housing through WISH (Washington Intern Student Housing) and your University Bursar account will be charged accordingly.

WISH is a well-known agency located on Massachusetts Avenue and offers a number of Capitol Hill locations that make it convenient for you to access the excitement and charm of life in Washington, DC. Your living quarters will include wireless computing, kitchenettes, a classroom, and an exercise room. All WISH housing is fully furnished, including washers and dryers, and convenient to public transportation.
