UM-Tupelo students prepare care packages for U.S. soldiers serving in Iraq
University of Mississippi Student Social Work Organization members recently collected items to assemble into care packages for soldiers who are serving overseas. UM-Tupelo students, faculty, and staff donated a wide variety of items to help make the soldiers days a little brighter. Some of the most popular items that filled the care packages included wrapped snacks, sunscreen, chapstick, and batteries. Pictured are (seated) Leslie Payne.
