The faculty and staff of The University of Mississippi-Tupelo along with the Ole Miss Alumni Association held its annual Graduation Celebration on May 6 at the Advanced Education Center. UM-Tupelo graduates and their families were treated to a BBQ dinner. UM Graduating Senior Liberal Arts major Chris Diggs of Aberdeen, addressed his fellow graduates and entertained the crowd as he shared his stories and experiences of completing his degree with UM-Tupelo.
Students received their copies of the 2009 Ole Miss yearbook, as well as their graduation caps and gowns to be worn at the official commencement ceremonies held in Oxford the following Saturday, May 9.
