Study at Reading

Reading is a thriving, cosmopolitan city that is a blend of old and new. Students who come to our university from Reading often call the town “England’s biggest village.” Founded in the Saxon era, Reading consists of both Victorian homes and modern commercial centers. Situated 22 minutes by train or bus from London, the city rests in the Thames Valley.

University of Reading is based on 3 campuses, all within 10 minutes of the Reading town center. Named one of the top 20 most research-intensive universities in the UK, Reading’s departments of social sciences and fine art are widely respected. General liberal arts, science, and business courses are also available.
