Ecology of the Grand Canyon

BISC 479H will focus on the ecology of the Grand Canyon region, including natural history, ecology, biogeography, and resource management in the Grand Canyon region. The course will be based on a 14-day trip to various locations in and around the Grand Canyon, Arizona, and will include 12 nights of camping. Students must arrive in Las Vegas by 6 pm on May 13 and may depart anytime after 3 pm on May 26. Students must provide individual camping equipment.
