The Eastern Cape is the third largest province and home of both former South African president Nelson Mandela and current president Thabo Mbeki. Using the city of Port Elizabeth as a lab, students will divide their time between coursework and the beach while living and learning with students from all over the world. The program, offered through Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, is open to all majors. Students will earn 6 hours of credit for interdisciplinary course in South African history, culture, language, and/or environmental studies. |
