Spend your first week immersed in the culture of the Italian family during homestays in Abruzzo. During week two, explore the metropolitan life of Rome. Throughout your experience gain fluency and comfort in speaking Italian by being immersed in a native-speaking environment. Dr. Tumini says: Immersion is the best way to learn a language, and I know the families that the students stay with will treat them as their own children and show them a very personal side of Italy. A former students says: "The best free thing I did was interacting with the local Perugians on the steps in Piazza Quattro Novembre. On any given night, hundreds of people flood the streets solely to mingle, so meeting people from every country was a breeze." |
