Queen Victoria’s capital was the largest and wealthiest city in the world. It was and remains the center of Britain’s political role in British history and society in the 19 th century. The course, taught by UM faculty member Fred Laurenzo, will lead students through both contemporary and historical accounts of Victorian London and take them to sites related to the era. Students will earn 3 hours of credit for HIS 399. |
