Theater production isn’t always about projecting vocally. Movement related to characterization and story telling is also important to a successful production. By viewing plays at the Globe Theatre and participating in workshops in London students will see how important movement is and the history of movement in theater. Students will also experience modern movement and productions during a visit to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The course, taught by UM faculty member Jennifer Mizenko, is open to all students but should be particularly interesting to theater majors. Students will earn 3 hours of credit for a course to be determined by the Department of Theater. |
