Sommerhochschule

The Sommerhochschule is an elite European Studies program focusing on the political, economic, legal, and cultural aspects of the multiple transformations the continent is currently undergoing. University of Mississippi students will have the opportunity to study with a hand-selected group of international students from more than 30 nations. This program, taught by international faculty, will be held on a campus consisting of meadows, woods, and parklands on the shores of Lake Wolfgang where all are challenged to learn and grow in a unique environment. Also available are sport and recreational facilities including tennis, windsurfing lessons, and mountain hikes. But students will also get the opportunity to travel off-campus to Salburg, St. Wolfgang, and Ebensee. The program is open to all students who have a 2.75 GPA or higher. Students will earn 9 hours of credit in interdisciplinary courses relating to European Studies and/or German language.
