Learn the inner-workings of the tourism industry by exploring sites throughout Australia and Fiji, including Sydney, Cairns, and Brisbane. Tour hotels, resorts, and casinos; explore natural environments like an Aboriginal Park and Wildlife Park; and shop in unique open markets. See how culture interacts with tourism in Australia and Fiji. The program, led by UM faculty member Dr. Tanya Ruetzler, is intended for hospitality management majors. Students will earn 6 hours of credit for FCS 468, FCS 493, and/or FCS 593. |
