The Netherlands today is one of the world’s most prosperous countries, thanks to its advanced industries and agriculture, its role in world trade and its large reserve of natural gas. Tilburg is also known for its plays, operas, and music festivals. Tilburg University is located in the southern part of the country. Its campus, designed with a compact architectural concept in mind, is set in gently undulating park-like grounds on a forest edge. The university itself places a high value on education and scientific research. |
