Study at Sophia University

Sophia University's aim is to prepare men and women coming from different countries to recognize the different cultural traditions of the world the fundamental unity of the human race and to work for the concrete achievement of that unity. Sophia University has grown to be one of the foremost of Japan's private universities with a student body of more than 11,000 undergraduate and graduate students and a teaching staff of more than 1,000.

Tokyo is the international city for everyone. Each stop on the JR Line (Tokyo metro) will introduce you to a diverse part of the nation's culture: from historic Japanese temples to global industry, and edgy punk kids to uniformed school children. Student fees are based on the cost of tuition at the University of Mississippi plus Study Abroad Fees. For the Fall 2008 semester, Mississippi residents were charged $3803 and non-residents were charged $7484.
