San Jose is the capital city of a small country famous for its tropical rain forests, beautiful beaches, and unique wildlife. The immense natural beauty of the country pours into all of its cities and San Jose is only a short distance from many popular resort areas and nature reserves.

Widely acclaimed for its innovations in art, design and architecture, Veritas is home to a thriving student body. Study at Veritas provides students the opportunity to learn from and with Costa Rican students. A main focus of the exchange program is on intensive Spanish language learning. This exchange is also a great option for graphic design and architecture courses.

18 years old, minimum 2.75 GPA, and good academic and disciplinary standing at UM. Junior or senior standing recommended.

Student fees are based on the cost of tuition at the University of Mississippi plus Study Abroad Fees. For the Fall 2007 semester, Mississippi residents were charged $3716 and non-residents were charged $6968.
