Northwest Airlines World Travel Scholarship

Important Clarifications

• This scholarship is a single round trip coach airline ticket from Northwest Airlines, and travel using the ticket is subject to the terms and conditions of Northwest's contract of carriage.
• All fuel surcharges, departures taxes, and governmental fees and charges will be paid by NWA.
• All seats are subject to availability.
• Awards are valid on Northwest Airlines, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, KLM cityhopper and NWA Airlink partners (Compass, Mesaba & Pinnacle).
• Acceptance of the scholarship grants NWA permission to use the Study Abroad experience in the NWA WorldTraveler magazine.
• Date/time changes after ticketing may be made if booking inventory is available. Students will be responsible for the change fee.
• Should the student withdraw from the program, he/she may be responsible to repay the cost of the airline ticket to Northwest Airlines.
• Northwest WorldPerks miles cannot be earned on the travel scholarship.
• No blackout dates apply.
• Scholarship award tickets are non-transferrable.
