Universidad de Diego Portales, UDP, is located in the heart of Santiago, Chile, the capital of a country known for more than just its growing economy and lush vineyards. Travel from the snow-capped Andes Mountains to the rugged Pacific coastline in a matter of hours. Trek in the Atacama Desert, down to the glaciers of Torres del Paine, or wander among the markets and skyscrapers of downtown Santiago.
Students will research and select courses from online departmental listings or the CFI offerings. Course offerings include the areas of communications, journalism, Latin American history, literature, and political science. The Study Abroad Office and student's advisor will assist the student in determining appropriate course equivalencies.
A passport is required for U.S. citizens traveling to Chile. A visa is also required for semester and all-year study.
