Paul Valery University at Montpellier

How's your French? This program allows you to choose from a mix of special courses with American students and with French students. Based in Montpellier, France, at the Universite Paul Valery and the University of Montpellier's Liberal Arts section, this program is offered through an Ole Miss partnership with the University of Minnesota. Family, apartment, or dormitory living allows for different types of integration into everyday French culture.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years old
• 2 semesters of university-level French
• Minimum GPA of 2.50, 2.75 for integrated studies option
• Good academic and disciplinary standing at UM

COURSES

The Integrated Studies Option is for advanced students and offers a variety of course options ranging from mandatory French language classes to courses at Universite Paul Valery taken alongside French students. Non-credit internships are also available with this option.

PASSPORTS AND VISAS

A passport is required for U.S. citizens traveling to France. A visa is also required for semester and all-year study.
