Hong Kong Baptist University - Exchange

An ideal site for Business and Liberal Arts students alike, Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) is located only 10 minutes from the center of the thriving, dynamic city. Founded in 1956, HKBU offers a broad range of undergraduate degree courses and is committed to enhancing internationalization of both local and visiting students. Hong Kong is a bustling city of 6.7 million and is at the center cultural and economic exchange between East and West.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Junior standing
  • 18 years old
  • Minimum GPA of 2.75
  • Good academic and disciplinary standing at UM

COURSES

Students will select courses that include: Marketing Principles, Intro to Mass Communication, Interpersonal Communication, Child Psychology, Business Statistics, Financial Accounting, and Introduction to Mandarin Chinese, enrolling in a minimum of 12 semester hours. PASSPORTS AND VISAS

A passport is required for U.S. citizens traveling to Hong Kong. A visa is also required for semester and all-year study.
