A thriving center for fashion design, Florence is one of the most important cities in Europe for restoration of both architecture and art. Today, Florence is a vibrant modern city, famous for its museums of Renaissance art. Select from course offerings ranging from Italian language and culture to painting, photography, advertising, business, sociology, history,... and earn UM credit!

  • Minimum GPA of 2.75
  • Good academic and disciplinary standing at UM

COURSES

Students will enroll in the equivalent of 12 semester hours. At lease one 3-hour course in Italian is required of all students. A listing of additional course offerings is available in the Study Abroad Office and online.

PASSPORTS AND VISAS

A passport is required for for all students traveling to Italy.
