Norwich is widely recognized as a friendly, quiet, safe city that combines a medieval city center of cobbled streets with modern buildings of stunning, contemporary architecture. With miles of open countryside and rivers to explore, Norwich is a popular holiday destination for locals and tourists alike. The University of East Anglia (UEA) offers excellent academic opportunities in the Humanities, Social Sciences and Sciences and is particularly well known for its courses in Creative Writing and Literature, its School of Environmental Sciences and for the spectacular Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts.
Students will select courses from a variety of departments including International Development, Sociology, Management, Business Finance, Culture and Media Studies, and International Relations, enrolling in a minimum of 12 semester hours.
A passport is required for U.S. citizens traveling to United Kingdom. A visa is also required for semester and all-year study.
