International College de Cannes, France

Study at the College International de Cannes in France while remaining enrolled at the University of Mississippi, earning UM credit and using UM financial aid. Cannes is known throughout the world as the home of the annual film festival, but the city has much more than cinema to offer. The Corte d'Azur region of France is breathtakingly beautiful and full of both cultural and recreational opportunities. The College is a few minutes from the beaches of the Riviera, and a five-minute walk to the famous La Croisette and port area of Cannes. Public transportation to nearby sites such as Nice, Monaco, and Vallauris as well as trains connecting to all of Europe are readily available.

  • 18 years old
  • Minimum GPA of 2.50
  • Good academic and disciplinary standing at UM

COURSES

Earn French credit at the 100 and 200 level. Classes are small in size, and all instructors are native speakers. Seminars taught in English in the areas of International Business and Art History are also available. More advanced students may also enroll in seminars taught in French in art history, French society, French political life, French cinema, and French literature. Specific course information is available online and at the Study Abroad Office.

PASSPORTS AND VISAS

A passport is required for U.S. citizens traveling to France. A visa is also required for semester and all-year study.
