UM/ School District Bank Hours
The University of Mississippi School of Education offers “bank-hour” credit to those school districts that assist our internship/student teaching program. The term bank-hour is used to describe tuition credit assigned by Ole Miss to area-schools for serving as host sites for internship placement and student teaching. School districts receiving bank-hour credit can use those credits to offset the cost of UM tuition for their employees. The formula for bank hours is determined each year by the University based upon the number of reported student placements.
Please contact your individual district office to see if bank-hour funding is available.
