Nursing Education Loan Scholarship (NELS)
A state-funded loan/scholarship for Mississippi residents who have been officially admitted into an accredited school of nursing in Mississippi and are classified as a junior or a senior. RN to BSN students must possess a current and valid Mississippi license as a registered nurse. The deadline for scholarship applications is March 31, even if the student has not yet received official notification of admission from a Mississippi School of Nursing.
