Vending machines are located on the 3rd floor. Students must consume food and beverages prior to returning to classrooms. No food or beverages are allowed in classrooms. Smoking is not permitted in the building.
A copier is available in the Northwest Mississippi Community College-DeSoto Center library. Copies cost twenty-five cents per page. Copies are not available through the UM-DeSoto office.
Parking will follow NWCC procedures and penalties. Fines will be charged to your student bursar account. Payment of parking fines will be handled in the UM-DeSoto office and must be paid in full before holds will be lifted from student accounts. Unpaid accounts will result in a hold being placed on your student account so that you will be unable to register for upcoming semester courses.
Safe, convenient, and ample parking is available at the DeSoto Center. Specific parking spaces are reserved for official vehicles, faculty and staff, and for persons with disabilities. Please park in student parking only, which is available on a “first come, first served basis.”
The DeSoto Center campus police are provided through a grant to Northwest Mississippi Community College and are vested with the power of and subject to the duties of constable.
