Curriculum for the Bachelor of Paralegal Studies

This curriculum is offered for the student working toward an Associate of Arts degree from Northwest Mississippi Community College who intends to continue studies toward the Bachelor of Paralegal Studies with The University of Mississippi.

General Requirements and Limitations for completing the Bachelor of Paralegal Studies:
  1. At least 124 semester hours.
  2. At least 42 semester hours at the 300 level or above.
  3. 2.0 GPA on all work attempted, as we as 2.0 GPA on all residenc work.
  4. Not more than 62 hours of community college credit can be used in a degree program.
  5. No more than 6 of the last 21 hours may be from another institution and/or by correspondence.
  6. AT least 31 hours of coursework must be taken from UM.
