Student Social Work Organization Hosts Health Fair

The UM-DeSoto Student Social Work Organization (SSWO) hosted a Health Fair for DeSoto Center students, faculty, and staff on Wednesday November 4, 2009 in the upstairs lobby. Blood Pressure screening were offered as well as information concerning arthritis and diabetes prevention.

SSWO members organizing the event were: (Front L to R) Shurunda Sessom, Serreta Golden, Tammy Delcourt, and Hannah Beazley. (Back L to R) Tamera Jones, Brandy Taylor, Sherry Williams-Jenkins (faculty advisor), Kashekia Smith, Gayle Small, Darlene Mitchell, and Demetria Williams.
