Oxford and University Community are Invited to Record Their Memories of Chucky Mullins
March 23, 2009

OXFORD, Miss. – The life and legacy of Roy Lee “Chucky” Mullins is celebrated each year with the annual presentation of the Chucky Mullins Courage Award to a rising senior defensive player on the Ole Miss football team. This year, members of the University and Oxford community are officially invited to share their thoughts and stories of the late Mullins on-camera that will be featured during the awards banquet on April 16.
“If you knew Chucky Mullins in any way, please come share your story with us,” said Micah Ginn of the Center for Media and Documentary Projects. “We want this year's celebration to further illuminate the impact Chucky had on our lives and we can only do that through the stories of those that came in contact with this unique young man.”
Open interviews will take place in Room 236 of Kinard Hall, Wing D on April 1 and 2. For more information, please contact Ginn at 662-915-3475 or email him at micah@olemiss.edu.
