The Center for Media Production

The Center for Media Production supports the academic mission of the University by creating and distributing documentaries, radio programming, and locally produced television shows on its newly acquired OMTV cable access channel. Media Production provides media duplication services as well as facilities for classroom enhancement through multi-media projects.

The Media Production staff of videographers, producers, and engineers has more than 150 combined years of experience in every kind of broadcast media. We are prepared to help our clients take full advantage of this age of media convergence with web development, data base management, streaming content creation, storage, and delivery. With a full production television and audio studios, mobile production unit, Avid and Adobe Premiere Pro post production suites, and BetaCam SP, Digital S, and Mini-DV cameras at our disposal, the Center for Media Production is eager to work with the University and surrounding communities to meet your production needs. Moreover, with our professional VHS, CD, and DVD duplication services, mobile satellite uplink unit, and OMTV, we are the only organization in North Mississippi capable of concept to completion to distribution services.

Duplication Services

The Center for Media Production can convert nearly any type of media into any other type of media. Bring us your old 8mm and 16mm films, or VHS tapes, and we can digitize them and provide you with either a digital file or burn them directly to DVD. We can also duplicate your existing VHS, CD, and DVD material and print professional color labels to your specifications.
