JumpStart students are REQUIRED to live in designated residence halls during each session. JumpStart students must sign up for Summer Housing on my.olemiss.edu. This application is separate from the online JumpStart Application.

Jumpstart students are automatically enrolled in a Summer Meal Plan through the ID Center and Ole Miss Dining Services. This plan will be loaded on the student's Ole Miss ID card.The Summer Meal Plan includes:
The above meal plan will NOT cover all of a student's meals for the summer. It is encouraged that students come with extra money available for food purchases. Meal Plans may be supplemented if the student and/or parent deems necessary through the Ole Miss ID Center.

As Ole Miss students, students are able to visit or make an appointment at the V.B. Harrison Student Health Center if they become sick or if a minor accident occurs. The staff at the Health Center can perform check-ups, fill prescriptions, and issue referrals if needed.
The Student Health Center is the place where students are required to send medical and immunization forms to become eligible to register for Orientation and classes.

The University Counseling Center (UCC) offers numerous services for Ole Miss students to promote mental health, general counseling, stress management, and more. The UCC staff is even available to even be an ear and listen to students and counsel them in a safe and inviting environment.

The University Police Department provides protection and ensures safety at the University of Mississippi. UPD officers are dedicated to student safety and crime prevention. UPD will meet with JumpStart from time to time over the summer to promote safety in Ole Miss and the Oxford community.
