Internship Experience Scholarships

The Internship Experience offers a limited number of need-based scholarships, up to $2,000, to help with the costs of interning. To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

  • Be accepted into the Internship Experience program
  • Complete the IE Program in good standing – EDHE 320 (Fall II), EDHE 321(Spring I), and EDHE 322 (Spring II)
  • Have a current FAFSA on file with the University of Mississippi Office of Financial Aid
  • Apply for the scholarship within the IE program

Individual internship participants who complete the series of Internship Experience coursework may also use their awarded scholarship as a travel or technology grant.  The grant can be used to offset airfare, ground transportation, or other internship-related travel expenses for those interning away from Oxford or their hometown.

Technology grants can be used for individual internship participants who are participating in a remote internship and have technology needs, such as computer hardware, software, or high-speed internet access, that will help them be successful at their internship.

Scholarships will range between $500 and $2,000 depending on level of financial need and the location of your travel. The number of scholarships available each year will vary depending upon funding availability.
