

The Intensive English Program
The IEP offers academic English courses from basic to advanced levels with a curriculum designed to prepare you to interact in the English-speaking academic, social, and professional world. Incoming Exchange
As a study abroad student from one of the University of Mississippi international exchange partner institutions, you are a welcome visitor to our campus. You’re more than a visitor, though, as an exchange student you’re offered the same services and opportunities as degree-seeking University of Mississippi students. While at the University of Mississippi you will be given support from the Study Abroad Office, the Office of International Programs, and by the various academic and student services departments. As a visiting student you may enroll in a variety of academic courses from different departments, live on or off campus and engage in numerous student organizations and campus activities. International Summer Session
Earn credit through our strong academic programs while learning about the South, what it's like and what we do. Through our International Summer School (ISS), international students can take full advantage of all courses offered to UM students during the summer by enrolling in up to 6 hours of credit in each summer term. The courses range from introduction topics to graduate-level lectures and theory classes and are offered in every field from liberal arts to business to engineering to accountancy and more. Study USA
Combining travel with the leadership of an inspirational University of Mississippi professor, Study USA programs are short-term domestic travel classes typically offered during intersession terms. Washington Internship Experience
The Washington Internship Experience—a combination of work and study—places University of Mississippi undergraduates and graduate students in our nation’s capital for a semester (summer, fall, or spring). Students select internships according to their areas of interest, such as government, the media, or a national institution in a variety of fields, federal agencies, and private industries. Summer College for High School Students
Students get a head-start on their college careers by taking two courses (in a variety of subject areas). Students earn an average of 6 hours of credit transferable to any accredited college or university. Students participate in SCHS 101 Exploring Sessions, a non-credit course designed to help them explore academic and career interests as well as to learn what to expect in the college selection process.
