The Intensive English Program

The IEP offers academic English courses from basic to advanced levels with a curriculum designed to prepare you to interact in the English-speaking academic, social, and professional world. Incoming Exchange

As a study abroad student from one of the University of Mississippi international exchange partner institutions, you are a welcome visitor to our campus. You’re more than a visitor, though, as an exchange student you’re offered the same services and opportunities as degree-seeking University of Mississippi students. While at the University of Mississippi you will be given support from the Study Abroad Office, the Office of International Programs, and by the various academic and student services departments. As a visiting student you may enroll in a variety of academic courses from different departments, live on or off campus and engage in numerous student organizations and campus activities. Summer College for High School Students

Students get a head-start on their college careers by taking two courses (in a variety of subject areas). Students earn an average of 6 hours of credit transferable to any accredited college or university. Students participate in SCHS 101 Exploring Sessions, a non-credit course designed to help them explore academic and career interests as well as to learn what to expect in the college selection process.
