GERM 201
SECOND YEAR GERMAN I
INTRODUCTION
German is not an especially difficult language. Neither is it a simple one. Fluency in speaking, as well as facility in reading, requires more than simply reading
thought a textbook. What you encounter in each chapter must not be merely read, but thoroughly absorbed. There is no point whatever in continuing a cumulative study, each aspect of which is contingent on all that has gone before, if you do not take time to learn each part
well. You must thoroughly absorb all of the material in one chapter before moving to another one.
This course offers three (3) hours of academic credit.
MID-COURSE TEST AND FINAL EXAMINATION
The student will take a Mid-Course Test and Final Examination at a physical
location in a college or university setting. Detailed instructions and
Mid-Course Test and Final Examination applications are included in the
online syllabus. Information regarding tests and procedures can be found in General Information.
