FR 102
ELEMENTARY FRENCH II
INTRODUCTION
The objective of the course is the reinforcement of material learned in French 101. Again, as in French 101, communication is emphasized, and it is mostly up to the student to practice it. The course is designed to develop the four communication skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Cultural information is given in English in the Info-culture material and is an integral part of the course. Since the student is taking this course by independent study, he/she is not expected to become a fluent speaker of French. However, the cassette accompanying this course are essential, and the
student would work with them as much as possible.
This course offers three (3) hours of academic credit.
MID-COURSE TEST AND FINAL EXAMINATION
The student will take a Mid-Course Test and Final Examination at a physical
location in a college or university setting. Detailed instructions and
Mid-Course Test and Final Examination applications are included in the
online syllabus. Information regarding tests and procedures can be found in General Information.
